Video cards, the fall in prices slows down: the price lists remain a mirage
The drop in video card prices, after months of growth at awkward levels, seems to have suffered a setback and consequently it is difficult to predict if and when we will see the latest GPUs from Nvidia and AMD at the list prices indicated by the two companies.
According to the analysis of German site 3DCenter on prices in various stores in Germany and Austria, after the significant reduction of the lists from the peaks of May, in the last two weeks there have been no shocks and prices have remained almost stable, indeed in the case of the AMD proposals they have even increased slightly.
Looking at the diffuse graph, we are back to January levels, which on the one hand is good if we look at May, but we certainly remain far from the price lists: all video cards remain more expensive than they should be and than promised at launch.

The shortage of products remains e it will still take some time to get out of a situation that affects the entire production apparatus of semiconductors, not just the world of GPUs. It should also be remembered that in general Germany and Austria are nations held in greater esteem by companies producing video cards, so it could take even longer to see concrete effects in Italy.
