Recently, there is more information about the OnePlus 10 series, which clearly proves the upcoming premiere. Now we have learned that it can occur much faster than previously assumed.
The OnePlus 9 series was released in March this year, so we expected the premiere of the next generation of flagships in a similar period, i.e. at the end of the first quarter of 2022. Meanwhile, new information appeared, indicating an imminent debut.
OnePlus 10 in January?
Pete Lau, founder of OnePlus, in his post on Weibo wrote “OnePlus 10 Pro, see you in January”, which leaves no doubt about the device’s debut. And yet some questions arose. Does the January premiere only refer to China, or will smartphones immediately enter the global market? If not, then we should expect them around March or April, which would be in line with previous rumors. Such a plan may also confirm the fact that the announcement was placed on Weibo, and not on another international platform.
It is said that the company’s decision is dictated by the desire to overtake Samsung, which is to present its Galaxy S22 series in February. It is hardly surprising, after all, OnePlus in the Pro model also intends to reach for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It is also said that the basic model will be equipped with the latest MediaTek processor – Dimensity 9000. If this is true, we will have an interesting premiere.
