Even more efficient graphics core and memory. This is a short description of what the RTX 3080 Ti will bring compared to the RTX 3080. It will reach for the alleged GA103S graphics processor with an unknown number of CUDA cores (certainly above 6144), which it will combine with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus, but not with a transfer of 14 and 16 Gb / s.
The RTX 3080 Ti will therefore be the first mobile card with GDDR6 16 Gb / s memory, and its maximum TGP will rise to 175 watts … but we don’t know if this is NVIDIA’s level or the one that manufacturers will raise it to. Officially, the RTX 3080 achieves a TGP of 150W +, and manufacturers push it up to 165 watts, so the aforementioned 175 watts for the RTX 3080 Ti is something that laptop manufacturers can still adjust.
