WhatsApp will introduce another interesting feature. Applies to voice memos

The voice memo function is very popular in instant messaging. Some time ago, WhatsApp made it possible to better manage them by adding the ability to change the speed or listen to them before sending. Now another improvement is on the horizon.

When we don’t have time to write a long message or our hands are full, voice memos come to the rescue. WhatsApp is well aware of this, so the functionality continues to expand. In addition to the above-mentioned improvements, we know that work is also underway to enable the transcription of voice memos. Now we learned from the koela that there was another change in the beta version.

As reported by WABetaInfo, in the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android (v2.22.3.1) it is now possible to listen to voice memos in the background. This means that when playing back the received recordings, you will be able to go to the home screen or other applications over which the voice memo player will simply be displayed. It is to contain buttons for stopping, resuming and dismissing a voice note, as well as a progress bar.

The feature is currently in development and is not available to all testers. So we do not know when it will ultimately go to the stable version of the application.
