Windows 11 release date announced

Microsoft is trying to keep users interested in its upcoming Windows 11 operating system. If you look closely at the official promo materials, you will notice that in many screenshots, the clock on the taskbar displays the date October 29, 2021. An independent source confirmed to The Verge overseas that the company plans to launch Windows 11 in October this year.

In the meantime, users can be content with the information that bloggers and developers publish. Thus, screenshots of the new operating system have appeared on the web, which demonstrates the new user interface, the updated Start, and the taskbar. Visually, the new system resembles Windows 10X. Experts note that the developers have transferred many interface design elements from the canceled OS to Windows 11.

One of the most notable changes is the displacement of application icons from the lower left edge of the screen to the center, where the Start menu button is now located. Another important change is the rounded corners of the windows. It is also noteworthy that widgets returned to the new OS, but in early assemblies they do not work correctly.

Even before the official presentation of Windows 11, users saw documents published on the Microsoft website disclosing the end date of support for Windows 10. According to the disclosed information, the company plans to end support for home and professional versions on October 14, 2025.
