The new Microsoft system, in addition to major improvements, also brought smaller novelties. And some, such as 3D emojis, he was supposed to bring, but in the end it turned out that the promises remained only promises, and Windows 11 only offers flat emojis.

During the promotion of the new system, Microsoft shakes, inter alia, new emojis that will be available to users. Sure, it’s not an improvement that we would need to live on, but still a promise that the company ultimately didn’t deliver. In the compilation of the system released yesterday in the dev channel, Microsoft’s Fluent emojis appeared, which, contrary to the assurances, are 2D instead of 3D.

This is not the first time that Microsoft has failed to keep its promises. Perhaps over time, 3D emoji will go to the “eleven”, or maybe they will appear in programs such as Outlook or Teams. For now, however, we only have a manifestation of false marketing. It is similar in the case of Android application support on Windows 11. Microsoft strongly advertised this feature, it was supposed to appear for the premiere, while now it is talking about October next year …
