The developers are excited about ray tracing and are using it massively. Also, the world’s leading manufacturers have announced that ray tracing will be included in their main franchises. Call of Duty Modern Warfare has just been released with ray tracing and the Game of the Year according to IGN, Control, has a ray tracing showcase.
At CES, Bethesda is presenting the ray tracing update for Wolfenstein: Youngblood, which includes lightning path reflections, DLSS and Highlights from NVIDIA. It will be available as a free download patch during CES week.
With DLSS the framerate looks noticeably improved, even in 4K.
