Xiaomi Mi Notebook from now on with Kaby Lake-R processors

Xiaomi has just expanded its portfolio of portable devices with new Mi Notebook variations. This time he opted for Kaby Lake-R processors from the eighth generation Intel Core systems.

This one has already been sold in China in three versions. These differ only in terms of the operational memory and processor used. The cheapest, because equipped with 4 GB of 2400 MHz RAM and an Intel Core i5-8250U processor, costs about $ 583, expanding the memory deck to 8 GB costs an additional $ 73, and the most efficient variant with 8 GB of RAM and a Core i7-8550U processor almost 730 bucks. And what are their other features? Most importantly, they don’t change from version to version.

Each new Mi Notebook laptop can boast dimensions of 382 x 253.5 x 20 mm. It comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD screen based on an IPS matrix, managed by a dedicated Nvidia graphics card. It may not be the latest chip, because the MX110 with 2GB GDDR5 on the back of the neck is three years old, but it’s better than nothing. In terms of mass storage, customers can count on a duo of 128 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD. The whole is complemented by two USB 3.0 ports, a single USB 2.0 and an SD card reader. In terms of software, Xiaomi chose Windows 10, which he enriched with the Office suite and the proprietary synchronization assistant.

Unfortunately, we do not know when Xiaomi will enter our European market with the new Mi Notebook.
