The management board of Xiaomi recently presented several photos taken with the Xiaomi Mi Play smartphone. The company’s president also said the phone takes very good photos that are well above average.
Xiaomi Mi Play is equipped with 12 MP + 2 MP rear cameras. They are backed by AI, which reportedly does a tremendous job. According to the company, daytime shots are clear and nighttime shots are clear and acceptable. The published photos do seem to confirm this. It is a pity, however, that they were made in the daytime. In the front there is a single 8 MP camera, which is also supposed to take very good photos using AI.
The smartphone costs about 1099 yuan (convert to US dollar), or about PLN 600. For the price, if the photos are confirmed in testing, this could be a really nice choice. I wonder if customers also think so and buy a smartphone after its premiere.
