Zotac presents the Geforce GTX 1060 Mini

Shrink variants of high-performance graphics cards are nice for those who want to build a compact computer for the living room. Gigabyte was the first to present a Mini ITX variant of the Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070, and the next company to take on the Pascal architecture in a shrink format is Zotac, which presents the Geforce GTX 1060 Mini.

The specifications of the Zotac Geforce GTX 1060 Mini follow the specifications of the reference design directly. The graphics processor tugs at 1,506 MHz and the boost mode reaches 1,708 MHz. The length of the card is only 17.4 centimeters long and may therefore be cooled with a single fan of 90 millimeters. The fan is mounted on an aluminum heat sink that has direct contact with the graphics circuit.

Zotac is also taking the opportunity to introduce a full-size variant of the Geforce GTX 1060 that is part of the overclocked AMP family. The clock speeds have been increased to 1,556 MHz in standard version and 1,771 MHz in boost mode. Here, Zotac’s cooling system Icestorm is used, which applies vertically mounted heating pipes in copper as well as a cooling flange in copper and two fans of 90 millimeters each.

Both products occupy two slots in the chassis. No information on launch dates or price information has been announced at the time of writing for the new graphics cards.
