24 Samsung smartphones got One UI 3.0 firmware on Android 11

Samsung was not among the first to update the software of smartphones to Android 11, but the latest revision has already been installed in 24 models of the manufacturer from South Korea, not counting the new flagships of the Galaxy S21 family. The latest version of the “green robot” came along with the proprietary One UI 3.0 shell. Moreover, Android 11 is already available not only for top solutions, but also for several mid-range devices.

Samsung Galaxy M30s, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 5G got cheap Android 11 solutions with One UI 3.0 in Europe. In all cases, we are talking about the beta version. In addition, the company has already launched public testing for the Samsung Galaxy A50 in the US, and a stable build for the Samsung Galaxy M31 has been released in India. In the foreseeable future, we will have to get an update to the top five relatively inexpensive devices. We are talking about the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite, Galaxy A90 5G, Galaxy A70 5G, Galaxy M40 and the Galaxy Xcover Pro rugged smartphone.

All the devices, which we will talk about further, have already acquired a stable version of the One UI 3.0 software with the Android 11 operating system. There are one and a half dozen of them. For convenience, let’s go through each family separately.

The update has arrived for all flagship smartphones of the Galaxy S10 series. In early 2019, the company announced the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy S10 + and Galaxy S10e models based on Exynos 9820 (8nm) and Snapdragon 855 (7nm) processors, depending on the sales region. The 5G cellular version received Android 11 only in Switzerland. At the beginning of 2020, the family was replenished with the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite model with a plastic case on Snapdragon 855.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 family has also been updated to One UI 3.0 with the eleventh revision of the “green robot”. It consists of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 +, Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE) models. All four smartphones were announced in 2020 and are powered by Exynos 990 / Snapdragon 865 mobile processors. Both are made using 7nm technology.

The stable version of the software can already be tested by the owners of the Galaxy Note flagships of the last two generations. These are smartphones Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 10+, Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. The previous generation models are powered by Snapdragon 855 / Exynos 9825 chips. The latter was presented exclusively for this series. The 2020 flagships use the Exynos 990 or Snapdragon 865 SoCs.

The bendable smartphones of the company from South Korea were not left without an update. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G on Snapdragon 865+ received Android 11 with One UI 3.0 in Europe, and for the 4G version on the Snapdragon 865 chip, the update is currently only available in India and North America. In conclusion, we add that the stable build came out on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the first generation Galaxy Fold LTE / 5G.
