The two newly announced smartphones are basically the same spec, and the differences between them come down to the cameras. They are equipped with 6.58-inch screens with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a brightness of 480 nits. The durability is ensured by compliance with the standards IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810. Blackview BL8800 and BL8800 Pro are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip in the 8/128 GB configuration. The battery with an impressive capacity of 8280 mAh that supports 33 W fast charging is impressive. The models work under the control of Android 11 with the Doke OS 3.0 overlay.
As for the differences, the Blackview BL8800 has a 10 Mpix night vision camera, a 50 Mpix main sensor, an 8 Mpix wide-angle lens and a 2 Mpix depth sensor, while the BL8800 Pro is equipped with a 5 Mpix FLIR thermal imaging camera, a 50-megapixel main sensor and two sensible 2 megapixels each.
Both models are available in three colors – Conquest Black, Mecha Orange and Navy Green – for $ 499.99 and $ 669.99.
