At a time when smartphone screens are dangerously approaching the 7-inch limit (in some folded ones it has even been exceeded), there are companies that decide to create something for those who prefer small phones. This is what Chubot Pocket is, the newest member of the Mini series.

Big smartphone displays allow you to do more. They are comfortable to watch or play, but they can also be problematic, because not everyone is able to handle them with one hand. I honestly admit that having the Huawei P30 Pro with a 6.47-inch screen I have a problem with it myself. Not to mention the fact that the phone rarely fits in your pocket … It is not so severe that I would like to abandon my smartphone in favor of a smaller model, but if it bothers you too much, check out the novelty from Cubot.

A smartphone that we can easily fit in the hand, and even (especially in a woman’s) pocket? Here is the 4 inch Cubot Pocket?

The manufacturer wanted this light and compact design to fit everything that a modern smartphone should have. So we get a 4-inch screen with QHD + resolution, so the visual experience should be very good. It is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T310 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. The 3000 mAh battery may not be impressive, but remember that it powers a much smaller smartphone than the standard one.

Cubot Pocket has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, OTG, NFC and a microSD card slot on board. We have a 5 Mpix front camera and a single 16-megapixel lens on the back.

The device has dimensions of 119 x 58 x 12.5 mm. For comparison, the above-mentioned Huawei P30 Pro measures 158 x 73.4 x 8.41 mm. The difference is therefore considerable, although, as you can see, the Cubot Pocket is much thicker, which should not be surprising. Of course, it does not impress with its specification, because this one is at the level of typical budgeters, but it seems that if you mainly care about a small structure, it should not bother you.
