Bitcoin and Tron added in the Opera browser on the Android version

The Opera browser has announced that it adds support for Bitcoin and Tron to the latest Android version. The Norwegian software company announced last year that its integrated wallet supports Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens.

To begin with, Bitcoin and Tron will only be available for the browser version of Android. It is expected that in the coming months they will also become available to iOS users.
The Opera said this is a new step towards the next generation of the Web – Web 3.0.

Opera is the first major browser to integrate cryptomonas

Opera continues to lead the cryptomonas integration process compared to other major browsers. Apple released a CryptoKit this year, but has not yet offered a crypto wallet for Safari browser.

The only competitors on the crypto market are the Brave browser and the latest Samsung Galaxy s10 smartphone. Brave focuses on promoting its own BAT token and offers the option of desktop-only transfers.

The latest version of Opera will allow users to send and receive BTC (Bitcoin) and TRX (Tron) as well as view transaction history.
“The most important thing is that we include an experimental Web 3 integration that allows sites to request and receive addresses and users to make transactions with Bitcoin.”

Mobile payments are growing in popularity

Opera is based on the fact that cryptomonade users are familiar with payments using their mobile phone. The popularity of this payment method has been increasing in recent years.

Despite this, most user interfaces are difficult to use. In addition, downloadable crypto wallets generate security concerns.

For this reason, Crypto’s wallet offered by Opera has the potential to become a success. Beta 53 beta for Android is available for download on Google Play.
