Bitcoin (BTC) doubled compared to last year, cryptomarket in the green

The rates of cryptocurrency’s turn completely green again. Bitcoin rises by more than six percent compared to yesterday. In the top 20 the price of Monero (XMR) stands out with an increase of eight percent. Only Tether (USDT) stays around one dollar, but that is not surprising.

Decline was only short-lived

The fall of yesterday has thus been completely recovered. Yesterday, the South Korean crypto exchange UpBit was hacked. Immediately after the announcement, the bitcoin rate fell by two hundred euros.

Whether there is a direct link between the rate and that event is not clear, but the timing of the decline was striking. It is possible that investors were shocked and sold bitcoin quickly.

In retrospect, that was not a good choice, because the rates for bitcoin and other crypto coins picked up quickly. Below you can see the price of bitcoin:

According to Coinmarketcap figures, the value of the total cryptomarket has increased by almost 15 billion dollars compared to the low of yesterday. So not only bitcoin has risen, but almost all altcoins fly up. Some coins even have double digits, such as Matic (18%) and Chiliz (16%).

Bitcoin has doubled compared to last year
