Crypto entrepreneurs benefit from support in Romania and abroad

Investment firm Andreessen Horowitz has announced it will launch a free school for crypto entrepreneurs. The company announced the launch of “a16z Crypto Startup School” by a statement published on its website. According to the blog post, the program will be a seven-week course starting in February 2020.

The first edition of the program will include a series of free lectures to be held at the company’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California. Representatives Andreessen Horowitz estimate that about 40 crypto and blockchain entrepreneurs will participate. The content of the lectures and the materials will be available for download later on the Internet.

A similar program in Romania is CryptoZZ. Educational materials for beginners and advanced, plus free discussions, will help the young crypto entrepreneurs in Romania to develop.

Chris Dixon, general partner of the crypto a16z fund, told CNBC that crypto entrepreneurs can participate in the program for free:

“Our general opinion is if we build goodwill, people want to come and work with us – this program is built in this spirit. If they start a company, we hope they will call us, but there is no obligation to do so. ”

Andreessen Horowitz has become one of Silicon Valley VC’s most visible investors in the crypto and blockchain industries. In 2018, the company launched a $ 300 million crypto fund to support start-ups in the industry. Since then, they have invested in about 19 crypto and blockchain companies.

Also, the investment firm is part of the Libra Association and lobbies for the blockchain industry among the decision makers. Dixon acknowledged that there are numerous regulatory hurdles today, but is optimistic about finding a compromise solution.
