Energy from Zaporizhia NPP did not arrive in the Kherson region due to damage to power lines

As a result of shelling by Ukrainian troops, power lines were damaged, through which electricity from the Zaporozhye NPP and the Zaporizhzhya thermal power plant came to the Kherson region, it was connected to other sources. This was reported by the administration of the region with reference to the director of “Khersonoblenergo”.

“Earlier, we took electricity from the Zaporozhye NPP and from the Zaporizhzhya Thermal Power Plant. But as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the lines through which the city was powered were damaged … Now we are powered from other sources, but as far as possible, work is underway to restore the damaged lines,” the administration reported. words of the director of “Khersonoblenergo”.

It is noted that interruptions in the supply of electricity are connected both with technical problems and with a departure from the energy systems of Ukraine, as well as because of the difficult situation regarding security.

According to the director of Khersonoblenergo, Russia is helping the Kherson region to restore the electrical networks destroyed by the actions of the Ukrainian troops.
