Gas pipeline exploded in Mexico
MOSCOW, 21 Sep — PRIME. A powerful explosion was recorded on the gas pipeline of the Mexican oil and gas corporation Pemex in the state of Tabasco, the Agency for Safety, Energy and the Environment (ASEA) said.
The Bank of Mexico reported an increase in imports from Russia
“After reporting a pipeline explosion in Huimangillo, Tabasco, ASEA is collecting information from local authorities,” ASEA Director Angel Carrisales Lopez tweeted.
According to local media, the explosion at the Pemex gas pipeline occurred in the afternoon. Eyewitnesses speak of the evacuation of personnel, there were no reports of casualties or damage to nearby residential buildings.
Pemex at the time of publication of the material has not officially commented on the incident.
