S. PETERSBURG, 15 Sep — PRIME. Renewable energy sources (RES) cannot become an alternative to traditional sources in a difficult economic period, Oleg Aksyutin, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Gazprom, believes.
Gazprom spoke about the positive impact of sanctions on the company’s work
“Renewable energy cannot become an alternative to oil, gas, hydroelectric power plants, nuclear power plants, and even coal in a difficult period for the economy,” he said during a plenary session at the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.
