Honor X30 Max and X30i make their debut. Large displays, high-capacity batteries and low prices

Honor X30 Max 5G

Since we have already started writing about it, we will take the topic further. Honor has equipped this smartphone with a huge 7.09-inch LCD display with FHD + resolution. In the past, tablets could boast such a screen, and now it is not much larger than in a standard smartphone. The display, according to the manufacturer, covers 100% of the DPI-P3 scale. The huge downside, however, is the refresh rate. 60 Hz is a mockery.

As for the processor, the Honor X30 Max 5G drives the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset supported by 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of built-in memory. So it is good in this respect. A capacious battery was also taken care of – 5000 mAh with support, unfortunately, charging 22.5 W. A little bit, but well … The selfie camera has 8 Mpix, and on the back we find the main camera 64 Mpix and a depth sensor 2 Mpix.

Prices? For the 8/128 GB variant, you have to pay 2399 yuan (convert to US dollar), which is approximately PLN 1,500. For the 8/256 GB variant, the price increases to 2699 yuan (convert to US dollar) (about PLN 1670).

Honor X30i 5G

In this model we have a slightly smaller, 6.7-inch screen, it is also an LCD panel with FHD + resolution, but the refresh rate is already at 90 Hz. The selfie camera placed in a circular indentation has 8 Mpix, and on the back we find a triple configuration with a 48 Mpix main unit and two 2 Mpix eyes for macro and depth measurement.

Honor has equipped this model with a MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G processor supported by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of built-in memory. The battery is smaller than in the X30 Max, because it has a capacity of 4000 mAh, the charging is at the same level – 22.5 W.

As for prices, they are as follows:

• variant 6/128 GB – 1399 yuan (convert to US dollar) (about 870 PLN),
• variant 8/128 GB – 1699 yuan (convert to US dollar) (about PLN 1050),
• variant 8/256 GB – yuan (convert to US dollar) (about PLN 1170).
