Karma Automotive has added payment with Bitcoin for electric cars

Luxury car maker Karma Automotive now has a Bitcoin (BTC) payment option for its models. Thus, the company has an advantage over rival Tesla, which has so far not implemented this method of payment.

Karma offers customers the opportunity to use BTC to buy new car models and services. The option will be available at the Karma Newport Beach Store, the company’s main sales center. The service is part of the VIP options package from the car sales and service center. The payment option will be available through a partnership with Wanxiang Group.

Karma Director Dr. Lance Zhou said:

“Karma’s flagship store will support our efforts to implement the technology in development. We offer the latest VIP customer service, accepting Bitcoin cryptocurrency. “

Karma electric vehicles are also used to test various blockchain applications available in the car space.

Luxury products with bitcoin

Bitcoin has proven extremely useful for large-scale acquisitions. Cars, real estate and luxury products were available to crypto-enthusiasts. The Bitcoin network is perfect for high value transfers because it involves small fees compared to banking networks.

Karma Automotive is also in an expansion unit to unveil its Revero GT in the US and Canada. Future plans include a global machine power supply platform that is expected to be launched in 2021.

With its models, Karma wants to establish itself as a high performance incubator for the development of the automotive industry.

As for Tesla, its real involvement with crypto assets has been shallow. Elon Musk’s tweets praised BTC and Dogecoin (DOGE), but so far no BTC transactions for a Tesla have been reported.
