More details are revealed about the Geforce RTX 3060 Ti

Earlier this week, SweClockers was able to report that Swedish retailers have begun ordering computers equipped with Geforce RTX 3060 Ti, an as yet unofficially unveiled card in Nvidia’s RTX 3000 series. Videocardz is now digging out more details about the alleged graphics card, where the sources are stated to be Nvidia’s partner manufacturers.

Apparently, the Geforce RTX 3060 Ti will get a real boost in the number of CUDA cores while memory bandwidth stays at the same 448 GB / s as its predecessor Geforce RTX 2060 Super offers. The number of RT cores is increasing minimally, but on the other hand Nvidia states that the second generation ray tracingdevices are significantly more powerful than those of its predecessor.

Price information is not available, but launch is said to take place at the end of October, which places the rollout shortly after the Geforce RTX 3070. The cards will also work on an 8-pin connector thanks to a specified power output of 180 watts.
