Nacon on their official Twitter reported that she “formed a brotherhood” with Daedalic Entertainment, the purpose of which will be to publish the promising (on paper) project The Lord of the Rings Gollum. In addition, Nacon clarified that The Lord of the Rings Gollum will still be released in 2022, and not at the end of 2021, as previously assumed. Moreover, the freshly baked publisher does not specify when exactly in 2022 the game should be expected.
Recall that in The Lord of the Rings Gollum we will see the events taking place in Middle-earth through the eyes of, as you might guess, Gollum. Since the character itself is “dead”, the game basically has to rely on covert movement and ingenuity.
Among the target platforms for the game are PCs and all current consoles, including even the Nintendo Switch hybrid console.
