This is definitely not a perfect equipment, because by displaying usually only shades of gray, it is simply not “for everything”. However, writing, reading or programming with its use seems even advisable, which is emphasized even by their low energy consumption. This is something important above all when working outside the home.

Thus, on the wave of these advantages, Onyx International has just revealed its 13.3-inch Boox Mira E Ink display, displaying 16 shades of gray in 1650 × 2200 quality, which translates into 207 PPI. There is no shortage of backlight with adjustable color temperature (cold, warm) or manually adjustable refresh rate to take care of our eyes even more. It was designed according to the rules of a minimalist look, but definitely not the equipment. This 590-gram hardware designed for laptops offers two USB Type-C ports, one mini HDMI connector, and even VESA 75 × 75 holes, but unfortunately it costs a lot, $ 799.99.

However, this is not much compared to the planned 25.3-inch Boox Mira Pro monitor with a resolution of 3200 × 1800, for which you will pay $ 1,799.99. This equipment will be created for stationary work, offering DisplayPort, HDMI, miniHDMI and one USB-C input.
