A few weeks ago, HMD Global presented Nokia 7.1. This device, along with Nokia 6.1, 6.1 Plus, Nokia 8 or 8 Sirocco, was to receive a new system by the end of this month. It looks like the announcements will be fulfilled.
The test of this smartphone has just appeared in Geekbench, but it was made with the new Android. Nokia 7.1 has Snapdragon 636 or 4 GB of RAM – the same result is appropriate for such a construction. Interestingly, its successor, the 7.1 Plus model, which is also to be equipped with Android Oreo and Snapdragon 710, is already on the market. He should also receive an appropriate system update as soon as possible.
The Geekbench entry shows that the system is ready, but we do not know yet when it will go to smartphones. For now, however, Nokia has lived up to its promises, so you can expect Android 9 Pie by the end of October.
