Ahead of this year’s CES show in Las Vegas, Nvidia has presented the mobile variants of the graphics cards Geforce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti. Both variants will be available with up to 4 GB of GDDR5 laptop memory.
GTX 1050 Ti Mobile boasts a processor core of 1,493 MHz and 1,620 MHz GPU, which can be compared to 1,290 and 1,392 MHz respectively makes the desktop model GTX 1050 Ti. For GTX 1050 Mobile, the clock speed is 1,354 / 1,493 MHz, compared to 1,354 / 1,455 MHz for stationary GTX 1050.
Both cards are made with a manufacturing technology of 14 nanometers. According to Techpowerup, the GTX 1050 Ti is best suited for computers with screen resolutions of 1,920 × 1,080, while the simpler GTX 1050 is ideal for 1,600 × 900 pixel monitors.
The first laptops to use Nvidia’s new chips are expected to be unveiled at CES this week. Dell, HP, Asus and Alienware, among others, have machines underway.
