Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 Ti prestandatestas i 3DMark

Soon, Nvidia is expected to launch its new graphics card Geforce GTX 1070 Ti, which will be a new model that will be placed between the Geforce GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 in terms of performance. Earlier this week, the first image on the card was found on the web in the form of a model in Gigabyte’s Gaming series and now the first performance tests from 3DMark are also published.

The information comes from Videocardz which compiled figures from the Geforce GTX 1070 Ti in 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme and 3DMark Time Spy and compared this with four other models. In total, two Geforce GTX 1070 Ti have been tested, but whether it is a reference design or a card from a partner manufacturer is not mentioned.

In 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme, the two cards are placed midway between the Radeon RX Vega 56 in Balanced mode and the same graphics card in Turbo mode. As expected, however, they place above the Geforce GTX 1070, which gets a score of 8 938. In 3DMark Time Spy, the two cards perform better than the Radeon RX Vega 56 and Geforce GTX 1070, but slightly worse than the Radeon RX Vega 64.

There are no details yet about the price and launch of the Geforce GTX 1070 Ti, but there has previously been talk of a unveiling on October 26 and launch on November 2. The price is believed to be 429 USD, corresponding to approximately SEK 4,300 including VAT.
