Upgrading your computer can easily become an expensive affair, especially when several components need to be replaced at the same time. Then upgrade packages can be advantageous, where several different components are packaged at a slightly reduced price. This is exactly what Nvidia is now launching to breathe life into older computers.
The upgrade package is called the PC Gaming Revival Kit, which includes a graphics card, an SSD drive and power supplies. The graphics card is a factory overclocked MSI Geforce GTX 1060 with 3 GB of graphics memory, the Corsair Force Series LE 240 GB SSD and the Corsair CX450M power supply.
According to Nvidia, the goal of the package is to be able to run games at 40 frames per second (fps) in the resolution 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, which, however, varies depending on the game title. The package has so far only been released in a few European countries at a price of 399 euros, corresponding to approximately 3,900 kronor. Whether it will be launched in the rest of Europe is not yet known.
