PegaSys Ethereum suite arrives on Microsoft Azure Marketplace

ConsenSys announced that the sequel PegaSys Ethereum, including Hyperledger Besu, PegaSys Plus and PegaSys Orchestrate, will soon be available on Microsoft Azure Marketplace.

According to a press release, the arrival of the PegaSys Ethereum suite on the marketplace Azure of Microsoft allow developers to deploy multi-node blockchain networks for companies.

We are pleased to see the launch of Hyperledger Besu and PegaSys Plus on the Azure Marketplace. Continuing to advance the company's quality and tools for networking and blockchain development is essential to meet the needs of customers using Azure. In combination with the DevKit VS Code Blockchain for Ethereum, a new standard for blockchain development has been established, ”commented Yorke E. Rhodes III, Director Blockchain Engineering at Microsoft.

Based on Ethereum java client Pantheon developed by the engineering team of the ConsenSys studio (PegaSys), Hyperledger Besus can be run on the public network Ethereum as well as on private blockchain networks with authorization.

PegaSys Plus is Hyperledger Besu’s commercial subscription offering additional capacity and support guarantees.

Finally, PegaSys Orchestrate is an Ethereum transaction orchestration system that allows organizations to leverage any Ethereum network.

The PegaSys suite also offers privacy and authorization features to meet business requirements.

In addition to direct support for ConsenSys projects such as Truffle, Infura and other open source projects such as OpenZeppelin, the Microsoft Development Kit now supports Hyperledger Besu. Developers can connect directly to the RPC endpoint for Besu deployments and develop, deploy and debug smart contracts on the Besu network, ”said the release.

ConsenSys collaborates with Microsoft for several years around the blockchain including the first plugin Visual Studio for the programming language of smart contracts Solidity released in 2016.

The two firms are also part of theEnterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA) and helped build the EEA Mainnet client specification operated by Hyperledger Besu.
