TUL Corporation with the brand Powercolor releases the Radeon HD 7870 Eyefinity 6 Edition and just as the name suggests, it is a graphics card that can operate up to six screens simultaneously.
The latest edition optimizes multi-display Eyefinity technology, enabling up to six monitors to be operated from one card through its six mini display port onboard design. This unique feature allows gamers to enhance productivity to get more things done at once, also delivering the most vivid HD gaming experience with wider view.
The reference model of Radeon HD 7870 has outputs for DVI, HDMI and two Mini Displayports. Powercolor rearranges the configuration to six Mini Displayports, which will make it possible to connect six screens with resolutions of a maximum of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
The new graphics card has just as usual 1,280 stream processors with a clock frequency of 1,000 MHz and 2 GB of GDDR5 memory that spins at 4.8 GHz. There is support for DirectX 11, OpenCL, CrossfireX and of course Eyefinity 2.0.
Price and sales start are still unknown.
