At a meeting in Moscow in the Binance cryptocurrency exchange, site CEO Changpeng Zhao called Vladimir Putin the most influential person in the blockchain industry.

Zhao noted that a draft law on cryptocurrencies is being prepared in Russia and, if necessary, Binance will be able to provide information about its users at the request of Russian regulators. Therefore, according to Zhao, criminals are better off choosing a different platform for their activities.

“As a rule, we do not massively provide information to regulators. But in individual cases, yes. Therefore, if you are engaged in crime, you do not need to register for Binance, ”said Zhao.

Also, the exchange’s CEO told how he sold the house to buy bitcoins and how after that the rate of the first cryptocurrency collapsed three times. However, Zhao did not panic and retained bitcoins. Even now he keeps these coins. According to Zhao, the rate of the first cryptocurrency may well grow significantly by the end of this year.

Recently it became known that the Binance cryptocurrency exchange will launch trading with several fiat currencies, including the Russian ruble. Trading for rubles on Binance will appear in two weeks.
