Rumors about the debut of Intel’s 9th generation CPU with the i9-9900K at the forefront

According to PCBuildersClub, Intel will officially present its 9th-generation Intel Core processors on August 1. We are talking about systems intended for the consumer market.

The refresh of the 8th generation Coffee Lake processors is, of course, an even more effective counter to the second generation AMD Ryzen. Intel certainly doesn’t like the fact that gamers are increasingly favoring the competition’s offer, so it will try to drag them to its side with even higher clocks and even additional cores. So we should be glad that they have finally awakened from their “performance lethargy”. However, their steps over the past year are not very clear. At the moment, in the 8th generation, we will find a whole bunch of CPUs – Kaby Lake, Coffee Lake, Whiskey Lake, and even the mobile Cannonlake at 10nm.

Nay! The 9th generation promises to be the usual refreshment of the current one (Coffee Lake-S), but with the improvement of the addition of two cores (8 in total) on its representative i9-9900K. Of course, the aforementioned higher clocks also come into play. That’s all we know about the coming generation. We can’t even be sure if it will really make its debut (at least on paper) on August 1. I remind you that this is unofficial information.

Finally, I decided to share my thoughts with you. What do you think – does the Intel Core i10-10400 just look good? In my opinion, not at all, and it seems to me that with the advent of the Ice Lake working name architecture, we can expect changes in the nomenclature. Maybe they will even herald a transition to a lower 10 nm technological process?
