Samsung recently published its Galaxy smartphone update plan. It shows that the A6 (2018) model will receive Android Pie in April. However, it turns out that this can happen much earlier.
The smartphone has just been noticed in the Geekbench benchmark with Android 9. It reached 1221 points for one core and 4045 points for many cores in the test. This means much better performance after receiving an update. The way in which the new system increases the results for smartphones is impressive. It is definitely faster and thus allows for a better comfort of using the phone.
Certainly, other Galaxy smartphones will receive updates sooner. For example, Note 8 or the S8 and S8 Plus models are waiting in the queue. So Samsung is testing the software, but it seems that everything goes as the manufacturer thinks.
