MOSCOW, September 5 – PRIME. Interest in Russian solutions in the field of cybersecurity has grown significantly, the world has begun to look beyond the Anglo-Saxon view of cybersecurity, said Artem Sychev, Advisor to the CEO of Positive Technologies, who previously held the position of First Deputy Director of the Information Security Department of the Bank of Russia. The speech took place during the Moscow-Vladivostok video bridge, dedicated to the release of the CSR report “Evaluation of the potential of Russian solutions in the field of cybersecurity in the international market” within the framework of the EEF-2022.
“The world has seen that it is possible to buy American software and then get a “brick”, this does not inspire confidence. In the new conditions, the world began to look beyond the Anglo-Saxon view of cybersecurity,” a correspondent of the PRIME agency reports his words.
According to the expert, Russian IT companies will have to reconsider their attitude to marketing, “after all, they buy not functionality, but a beautiful leaflet.”
“And the functionality itself, believe me, is no worse than foreign colleagues, and sometimes better,” Sychev added.
The VII Eastern Economic Forum will be held on September 5-8 in Vladivostok on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) on Russky Island. The business program of the event is published on the forum website.
