The Garage – An incubator for startups in central Paris

A group of blockchain companies have joined forces to create a new incubator for startups in Paris, France. Known as “The Garage”, the project aims to improve Europe’s position in the global blockchain industry.

The headquarters of the incubator occupies over 5000 square meters on three floors in the center of Paris. The location offers easy access to the project that wants to become a European blockchain hub.

The founders of the incubator are Starchain Capital, Dune Networks and The Family

Starchain Capital is a venture capital company focused on startups that experiment with blockchain technology. Founder Cyril Paglino said he became interested in the decentralized industry after his previous project, Tribe, was rejected by the Apple App Store.

Dune Networks is a fork of the Tezos blockchain, intended for business and big business applications. The Family is a start-up that focuses on consulting and education services.

Participants in the “The Garage” project include representatives of the Elite Chain, Ticket721 and Hipocamp projects.

The benefits of The Garage incubator

The idea of ​​the incubator is to provide blockchain and crypto start-ups with the help they need to generate traction. The Garage will provide financial support, marketing consulting as well as programming courses. It will also make available to the participants a site with the necessary resources to support the projects. The developers will thus have a space where they can exchange ideas and can help each other.

The plan is to help at least 25 start-ups each year get support from big companies to implement their projects. This will bring long-term benefits to the blockchain industry, including by increasing profits.
