The head of VEB declared Russia’s indispensability in the global energy market

MOSCOW, 13 Oct – PRIME. The Russian Federation cannot be replaced in the energy market and energy security, restrictions against the energy market of the Russian Federation can lead to a violation of global security around the world, said the head of VEB Igor Shuvalov.

“It is impossible to replace or replace Russia in this complex work on energy security, at least today and in the coming years,” Shuvalov said, speaking at the Russian Energy Week.

He drew attention to the fact that the decisions that were taken against the Russian energy sector “certainly should have led to a violation of global security throughout the world.”

Shuvalov also noted that Russia will be able to find markets for its products in the energy sector: new routes will be built and production, processing and delivery will be provided, this is a “national interest”.

“If we talk about global interest, then we need to return to the negotiating table, we need to look for compromises, since any restrictions against the energy market in the Russian Federation will lead to a violation of global security and the restriction of millions and hundreds of millions of people. For them, energy will be inaccessible,” concluded he.
