The lightest gaming mouse in the world

Razer announced a new gaming mouse, the Viper V2 Pro, which boasts of being the lightest in the world. With a classic design, designed for ambidextrous use, and this translates into a total weight of 64 gramsalthough of course, to reach this “milestone”, they have eliminated the lateral grip (a grip that can be glued is included to improve its grip “sacrificing” 3.2 grams of weight), the Razer Chroma lighting has also been removed, as well that there is no trace of RGB.

Other improvements go through a more efficient and lighter battery (-2.6 grams), structural modifications (-4 grams), etc.

Specifications Razer Viper V2 Pro are completed with an optical sensor Focus Pro 30K with a resolution of up to 30,000 DPI with a sample rate of up to 750 IPS and able to recognize movements of up to 70Gthe main buttons make use of a few optical switches Razer “Gen-3” with at least 90 million clicks lifespan, connects via low-friction Razer Speedflex USB-C cable, or wirelessly (Razer HyperSpeed) with up to 80 hours of autonomy,

They go on sale in black and white at a recommended price of 159,99 euros.

“We carefully considered every ounce of the Viper V2 Pro’s weight to ensure that the trade-off for lower weight didn’t come at the cost of features and performance,” said Chris Mitchell, Director of Razer’s Gaming PC Division.

“We’re not happy with just cutting weight here and there. Both professional eSports gamers and the larger gaming mouse community played an important role in the development of the Viper V2 Pro, addressing their feedback, whether it was about improving the button switches or sensor, or even something simple like improving the side button protrusion.”

“This mouse feels like it was made for me,” said Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen, professional Valorant player at OpTic Gaming. “The shape and weight are perfect in my hand, it feels like a natural extension of my body. It’s unlike anything else I’ve ever tried before.”
