The premiere of Oppo K9 Pro officially confirmed

After last week’s leak, Oppo has no choice but to confirm that the Oppo K9 Pro model will actually debut on September 26. An upcoming event has been announced on the Weibo platform.

We know from official sources that Oppo K9 Pro will be a gaming device. On the occasion of the announcement of the release date, we also received a poster, although it does not reveal much to us. We see a fragment of the back with an extensive camera island, reminiscent of the one known from Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. The triple configuration consists of a 64 Mpix main unit and two lenses, the specifications of which we do not know (officially). As for the confirmed details – that’s it.

Fortunately, there are also leaks that tell us so much more. Last month, the Oppo PEYM00 model was spotted in the TENAA certification base. Most sources agree that this is the K9 Pro in question. So we know that the smartphone will be equipped with an AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.43 inches and Full HD + resolution. TENAA does not reveal the processor, but it is said that there is a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip on board. As for the memory configuration, the certification reveals 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of built-in memory.

We also learned that the Oppo K9 Pro will provide support for 5G networks, it will have a fingerprint reader placed under the screen and a battery with a capacity of 4400 mAh. However, we do not know the charging power it supports. The front camera is to have 16 Mpix, while on the back, in addition to the main camera 64 Mpix we will find 8 Mpix and 2 Mpix lenses. Probably an ultra-wide angle and a macro / depth sensor.
