What do soldiers need for electronic warfare?

If ever a large-scale war breaks out, competition will take on a whole new dimension compared to what we saw during the Cold War or World War II. That is why today the answer is, inter alia, to the questions of what exactly soldiers need for electronic warfare.

We learned six features that should be distinguished by soldiers intended for electronic warfare

This was reported by Colonel Daniel Holland, manager of electronic warfare military capabilities, during a presentation at the recent TechNet Augusta conference. According to him, soldiers for electronic warfare need to be skilled and have access to equipment that allows them detect, identify and locate targets within the maximum effective range of the commander’s weapons systems.

Once targets were detected, they would have to influence them from a distance, a They would have to share the information they receive with their partners quickly and accurately. Holland believes the US military may even change the classification levels of geolocation data and other databases to share this information with coalition partners when needed.

Additionally, soldiers for electronic warfare should be able to indicate the best shooter for a given target and choose effectively from all over only the key ones. No wonder, because nowadays the army needs advanced systems to filter out data that is not useful. They should also have a clear picture of the presence of one’s own entity in the electromagnetic spectrumso commanders know what their formations look like in the electromagnetic spectrum.
