4LED projector for gaming from BenQ. The company showed its x3000i

Pre-ordered BenQ x3000i projectors with a 4D light source will begin shipping on March 7. According to the press release, the x3000i is actually the first 4LED projector for gaming from BenQ, but also from all other companies in the world.

The BenQ x3000i is the world’s first 4LED projector designed with gamers in mind

Short drop and low input lag – these two features BenQ decided to keep in the projector x3000i, developing its design on the basis of last year’s projector with the players in mind. It owes its uniqueness to the 4LED light source with automatic color calibration, which is to last up to 20,000 hours of “normal” use. This means that instead of traditional light sources, the projectors use four LEDs, which has improved green color quality and brightness by 12%.

In terms of performance, the BenQ x3000i features a rated brightness of 3000 ANSI lumens, the ability to generate an image in 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution, support for HDR10 content and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 spectrum. At its highest resolution, it can generate an image with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, but it is enough to go down to 1080p to ensure the entire 240 Hz, although it should be remembered that the HDMI 2.0b used of the projector reaches a maximum of 120 Hz at 1080p resolution. Depending on the selection, the delay is sequentially 16, 4.16 or 8 ms.
