How to unzip all files inside a folder and its subfolders in one go

Let’s say you have about 100 archive files on rar O Postal Code extended format within more than one directory. It’s definitely not going to be a walk in the park to unzip all these files by right clicking on each file and then clicking the Extract option. Obviously, you are here to automate this process in some way. Well, we’ve got your back.

In this article, we explain in detail how you can easily unzip all files within a folder and its subfolders recursively in one go.

Note: Please make sure you have 7 zippers software installed on your machine. No, you can get it from here.

Paso 1: On the taskbar, click the Search icon.

Paso 2: At Search barwrite in notepad and select Bloc application of the best match section.

Paso 3: When Notepad is open, copy and paste the following code.

FOR /D /r %%F in (".") DO (
pushd %CD%
cd %%F
FOR %%X in (*.rar *.zip) DO (
"C:Program Files-zipz.exe" x "%%X"
)
popd
)

Note: This code would unzip all the files present inside the folder where this batch script is present. It will also extract all the files present inside all the subfolders inside the parent folder recursively.

Stage 4: Once the code has been copied, press the button Proceedings tab at the top. Then click on the Save as option.

Paso 5: At Save as window, navigate to location where your folder containing the files is present.

Once you’re on site, give a Name to your file. But make sure to give the file extension like .bat.

then set save as type What All the files (*.*).

Once done, press the button To save button.

Paso 6: Now go to the location where you have saved your batch file. double click on it to run it.

Paso 7: If you see now, the zip file that was present in the previous screenshot was successfully extracted.

Note: If you go into the subfolders, you can see that the files inside these subfolders are also extracted.
