A little more than a month ago, AMD launched its new Polaris 10 graphics circuit and the associated Radeon RX 480 graphics card with a focus on affordable mid-range performance. This was followed up earlier in August by the RX 470, which is based on the same graphics circuit in a slightly scaled-down design.
To test the newcomer, Sapphire’s Radeon RX 470 Platinum Edition takes the test lab. It is a slightly modified variant of AMD’s reference design, which means a circuit board and cooler of a similar design to the RX 480 as well as slightly higher clock frequencies. Join in when the card is allowed to confess color in the test lab!
