AMD made official the arrival of the processors Ryzen 3 3100 and Ryzen 3 3300X, but also motherboards based on the new chipset B550 – 60 models are currently in development. As anticipated in recent days, the new Ryzen 3 3000 are based on 7 nanometer Zen 2 architecture and offer 4 cores assisted by technology SMT for a total of 8 threads. Both CPUs do not have integrated graphics.
Ryzen 3 3100 operates at 3.6 GHz / 3.9 GHz, has a total of 18 MB cache, a 65 watt TDP and will be available from May 21 at a suggested price of $ 99. Model Ryzen 3 3300X instead it works at 3.8 GHz / 4.3 GHz and will arrive on the market at a suggested price of $ 120. The other details are the same. AMD claims that the Ryzen 3 3100 is up to 20% faster in gaming than the Core i3-9100 and up to 75% faster than the same chip in content creation.

For what concern B550 chipset, confirmed the compatibility with PCI Express 4.0 which "unlocks twice the bandwidth of B450 motherboards". AMD therefore aims to make faster interconnection accessible, with cheaper motherboards than the current X570. AMD B550 motherboards will be available from June 16th in various models of ASRock, Asus, Biostar, Colorful, Gigabyte and MSI.
