Antec let his imagination run wild with the Torque housing

Such refined and sophisticated casings are certainly a kind of unique … which probably specializes in collecting dust particles. At first glance, you can see that the Antec has let your imagination run wild with the Torque housing, which may not be a revolution on the market, but brings a solid breath of freshness to it, for a fairly decent price.

The Torque model is a completely open housing, which, however, does not have much in common with traditional “testbenches”. Such a “booth” is simply to provide the user with the greatest possible air flow (read lower component temperatures), apart from 100% protection against possible mechanical damage. Let those who have not poured coffee or tea on their computer at least once throw their gaming mouse. Torque, however, does not abandon the current standards and provides all the cavities and gaps needed to complete the unit. This means that it will go into the hands of not only twisted modders.

The case measures 621 x 285 x 644 mm and is compatible with ATX, Micro-ATX and ITX boards. It consists of 14 anodized aluminum panels cut with digital CNC cutters, resulting in supposedly perfectly finished arcs and edges. The issue of cooling was solved rather traditionally, because we will stuff three 120 mm fans on the front and top into the Torque. This translates, of course, into the possibility of installing two 360 mm coolers. However, there is only one place for a 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drive and seven plugs for expansion slots.

On the front there are two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C, a POWER button and 3.5mm jack sockets. The Antec Torque is now available for € 379 incl. VAT, which is obviously a high price, but compared to the competition… not necessarily.
