ZenFone 4 Pro debuted with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Then it received an update to Android 8.0 Oreo. It turns out that it should get Android 9 Pie soon.
At least this is indicated by Geekbench, where this smartphone appeared with Android 9. The company has not yet released any official confirmation that the update is headed for ZenFone 4 Pro. However, usually the benchmark did not lie and after some time such information received official confirmation.
ZenFone 4 Pro has a 5.5 inch AMOLED display and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Inside there is a Snapdragon 835 and 6 GB of RAM. The internal memory is 64 GB or 128 GB. So it is not an old design and Android Pie is certainly welcome for smartphone owners. It also shows that the company cares about customers and that when buying ZenFone, you can count on long updates.
