In no other financial niche is the noise about rising and falling prices louder.
A list of Bitcoin obituaries shows the absurd extent: Bitcoin has already died 461 times in the English-speaking media. And hundreds more are likely to follow. Whether BTC is currently at six or sixty thousand dollars, every day is a good day to die for Bitcoin.
Those declared dead live longer
The ping-pong game about the more extreme price forecasts is profitable for both sides: sensational headlines bring clicks, clicks bring money – the right, not the scraping crypto money. It doesn’t matter whether Bitcoin – but this time really – bites the dust or – definitely very soon – should be worth a million dollars. The attention span abused by social media is vulnerable to both.

In 2017, Bitcoin died the most – a total of 124 times, i.e. every three days. On the other hand, the cryptocurrency still makes a very lively impression.
