BitGo strengthens its crypto offer with the acquisition of Lumina

Following the acquisition of the startup Lumina, the famous custodian supported by Goldman Sachs and specialized in digital assets, is launching two new services: BitGo Portfolio and BitGo Tax.

Founded in 2018 in San Francisco, Lumina previously raised $ 4 million and provided a service for institutional investors to manage their crypto-portfolios and better meet their tax obligations.

Following this operation, BitGo Now offers its customers a dashboard to more easily manage their assets and support in matters of taxation and accounting.

With BitGo Portfolio, users can now import data from any exchange and wallet in one place. And BitGo Tax is an institutional level tax solution fully integrated with BitGo Portfolio.

The 3 founders of Lumina now hold leadership positions at BitGo. Chen Fang, the CEO and co-founder of Lumina, has been named product manager for all BitGo products.

The redemption of Lumina follows two recent acquisitions by BitGo, namely the staking specialist Edge and the digital title platform Harbor.
