Custodian startup Casa has launched the Node Heartbeats solution, which checks the availability of Bitcoin network nodes and rewards their owners for regular maintenance.
The Node Heartbeats solution allows you to “quickly and safely check the status and health of the Casa site.” The Heartbeat SatsBack program was also launched to reward users for the regular use of Node Heartbeats. If the owner checks the node at least five times a week, he will receive 0.0001BTC, that is, about $ 1.
The developers noted that it’s rather difficult for users to maintain nodes in an updated and operational state, so they launched the Node Heartbeats solution. It is reported that Node Heartbeats establishes a short connection to the host using the Tor network. While the site is online, the fact of the connection is entered into the Casa Sats application, and users receive a reward.
Recall that in early July, Casa released a mobile application for managing the Lightning Network node. Now, novice users can easily manage their Lightning host via a smartphone.
