Celebrate Fortnite’s birthday and reap the rewards

Epic Games has just announced Fortnite’s first birthday. For this event, you just have to play to get the rewards… and it’s not that cheesy for the realities of the game.

Did you know that Fortnite also made its Early Access debut in July 2017? Back then, it only offered the “Save the World” mode and it was only after a few months that the developers decided to add the Battle Royale mode to the game. This one was supposed to be built in just 2 weeks, but it is not particularly surprising as the studio had almost everything ready. Either way, Epic Games hasn’t forgotten its roots and has just announced a special event yesterday.

As part of Epic’s birthday, we’ve given you three challenges. One is to deal 1000 damage to opponents, the second is to play 14 games, and the third is to dance in front of special cookies in the game world. For completing them, you will receive in turn: 5000 experience points, an emote and a sprey. The main reward (for completing all three) is a special backpack. All gifts have a birthday atmosphere.

The action will start on July 24 and will last until August 7. So you have plenty of time to win the above prizes. However, if you like to spend your time in Save the World, you will also get a few challenges there, and even the ability to open special boxes that contain all the skins from the beginning of the game.
