Coinbase adds support for OmiseGO (OMG)

Coinbase now offers the possibility to buy, sell, trade and keep OmiseGO (OMG) on its various services.

On his blog, the popular American crypto-broker announced the arrival of cryptocurrency OmiseGO (OMG) on its platforms Coinbase.com and Coinbase Pro.

As of today, Coinbase supports OmiseGO (OMG) on Coinbase.com and in the Coinbase Android and iOS apps. Coinbase customers can now buy, sell, convert, send, receive or store OMG. OMG will be available to customers in all regions supported by Coinbase, except New York State, "wrote Coinbase.

Launched in 2017 on the Ethereum blockchain in ERC-20 format, the digital part OmiseGO (OMG) allowed the startup of the same name to raise nearly 25 million dollars during its ICO.

The token powers a smart contract platform which offers various financial and investment services with the aim of facilitating the transfer of funds between payment systems and public blockchains like Ethereum.

This is the 22nd digital asset listed on Coinbase.com and 28th on its trading platform Coinbase Pro.

The Californian company specifies that customers who held ETH on Coinbase on July 7, 2017 (during the airdrop organized by OmiseGO) will automatically receive OMG tokens on their account.

Over the past 24 hours, the OMG token price recorded a record increase of + 44% and is now moving around $ 1.70.
